Alopecia and Wigs

Just wanted to share with you a few places that I've gotten my wigs!  The latest one is from Peggy Knight Solutions which is featured in this video.   Fortunately for me, my insurance paid for it.  These wigs are over $1,000, but they are beautiful and a little less "wig" like.  I have people tell me all the time that they would never know I was wearing a wig had I not told them!
 Another place that I've purchased wigs from in the past is Yaffa Wigs Outlet.  Don't know much about them, but they did get me exactly what I wanted!  I think it's online only.  Check these places out - you may find something you like.
When I bought my first wig, we went out to a wig store.  I didn't know what I was doing so I just bought the cheapest thing - trying to save my poor husband some cash!  Little did I know that if you buy cheap, you'll get cheap quality.  With real human hair wigs, you can wash & style the wig like you would your own hair.
